Get ready for a week filled with magical stories and exciting adventures. We’re so excited to celebrate World Book Day at Carr Infants on Thursday 5 March 2026.
This year, we’re inviting children to come to school dressed as their favourite book characters. Imagine our classrooms filled with brave knights, sparkly fairies and maybe even a very hungry caterpillar! (please no football kits). It’s going to be a wonderful day celebrating the magic of reading. We know how busy home life is, so please don’t worry if you can’t pull together a costume, wear your comfiest clothes instead.
We’ll be spending the day sharing stories, doing fun activities, and talking about all the amazing places books can take us.
