The Carr Way

At Carr Infant School, we believe that a positive learning environment is built on clear expectations, consistency, and fairness. Our behaviour curriculum, The Carr Way, ensures that all children understand what is expected of them and how they can make positive contributions to our school community.

Our School Rules

Our three core rules underpin all behaviour expectations across the school:

• Ready – We are prepared for learning, listen carefully, and follow instructions.
• Respectful – We treat everyone kindly, take care of our environment, and speak politely.
• Safe – We move around school calmly, keep our hands and feet to ourselves, and follow safety rules.

These rules are reinforced daily in classrooms, corridors, the playground, and the dining hall to create a culture of respect, responsibility, and safety.
