Our teacher led Nursery offers high quality care and education for children aged 3 - 4. Children are eligible for a place within nursery the term after their 3rd birthday, and we have three main intakes per year - the start of the Autumn Term in September, the Spring Term in January and the Summer Term in April. If you are unsure when your child would be eligible to start, please do make contact with the school office who will be happy to help on 01904 565140 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
We provide a choice of different sessions (depending upon availability and eligibility - please see https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk), with children having the option of completing 15 hours of FREE early years education by attending every morning from 8:55am to 11:55am or for 2.5 days. The 2.5 days option comprises of the beginning of the week: Monday and Tuesday all day and then Wednesday morning or the end of the week from Wednesday afternoon, then all day Thursday and Friday. Alternatively, there is provision for 30 hours FREE early years education where children attend each day from 8:55am to 2:55pm.
The children benefit from learning both indoors and out, with a wide range of resources and activities available for them to access independently. The Nursery teacher, alongside experienced and caring staff, carefully plan learning opportunities through play and are on hand to deliver some direct teaching as a large group, smaller groups or a 1:1 basis.
Our Nursery team work closely with you as the children's parents and carers and share the children's progress through an online learning journal. We have provision that is suitable for ALL children, whatever their needs, and benefit from an experienced Special Needs Co-ordinator within school. Our Nursery environment is both challenging and supportive and a place where all children can flourish.
If you would like to know more about our Nursery provision and see all we have to offer, please get in touch via the school office and we would be happy to show you around!
